Porongurup Shop, Tearoom & Village Inn

We stopped at this lovely little tea room for lunch after a walk in the Porongurups, there aren’t many places to eat that are open on a weekday ..but this was a charming little place with a pretty outdoor area, lovely plants, a little gift...shop too. The food was served by a very friendly chap who we presume is the owner, very tasty food which arrived promptly and was very well presented .. my husband had a ploughmans and I had a taster plate of bread, olives, sun dried tomatoes, feta and pâté .. we would recommend and will definitely visit again next time we are in the area!

We had a family lunch after climbing to the Granite Skywalk. All home-made food, served with a smile. My daughter's burger must have contained of beef, my pie was awesome and my wife's lentil patties were delicious. The desserts were traditional and tasty. We'd...come back again. Thank you.

My friends and I went to this restaurant for breakfast, but it was not good. I ordered the full breakfast with eggs, bacon, and tomatoes, but the eggs were hard. I was told that the cook was busy on the phone. Overall, the restaurant looked tired and dusty, and it did not seem appetizing at all. It's the only cafe in the area, so you would expect them to invest more in the business and upgrade. This lack of care from the owners is why they receive bad reviews.

This restaurant is a hidden gem! The coffee is fantastic, especially considering the owner mentioned she was still learning how to use the machine. After climbing the Castle Rock skywalk, this was the perfect spot to relax. The shop has wonderful character and the tearooms are delightful. It is dog-friendly and we enjoyed sitting outside on the veranda in the lovely surroundings.

We each had a different pie/salad combo and both were delicious! Coffee was also very good. Homely, warm atmosphere, would definitely recommend.
