Le Chateau - Pornic

We went for lunch, the service and food were so good we went back for lunch today. We had muscles and chips. The muscles were fresh and delicious. Superb service. I can’t wait to go back.

Walked around the harbour and found this place on a beach. Bar one side of a door and restaurant the other. We had the place to ourselves, the staff where lovely and the food was great. Watching the rain come down on comfy chairs.

Just out of the crowded portside this is a lovely place for lunch and a nice place to watch the tide change in this pretty estuary. With views over the chateasu and quick access to 2 memorable playgrounds and a carousel it is a great place to bring children too. We ate typical sea side lunch fayre ie mussels and langoustines and were impressed by the service on a pretty busy day would definitely go back. if you are feeling fit you can walk along the pretty coastal path all the way to a yacht basin where there is also a beach.

Every time a good surprise... Sunday end ritual to the beach and it works until October 1!!!
