Must have a reservation to be lakeside. Waiter claimed to speak no English, giving us a hard time ordering.Menu in Italian, German and English. Wine list had 5-10 options from each region of Italy. Food was very disappointing. My husband’s fish had bones. My eggplant parmigiana had no cheese, just lots of greasy red gravy. Bread served without olive oil or butter. The same waiter thanked us for coming in very good English as we paid to leave. Take a pass.

We recently stopped for lunch at this restaurant to break our journey. It looked like nothing from the road, but it was the only place we could find. When we drove down the pathway we discovered a lovely restaurant with a beautiful terrace right on the lake. The waiter was very friendly and spoke English. We had a fantastic dish of fritto misto (fried lake fish) and seafood pasta and a mixed salad, all washed down with a local wine.

My friend has recently moved into the area and took me here for lunch. When we arrived I was stunned by the beautiful location of this restaurant as it’s on the lake, with tables a couple of meters away from the shore. We were greeted by a lovely lady and man, were seated, ordered and the food came.....what a disappointment !!!! The starters and mains were very average and to top it all off, I found a piece of a metal scouring pad in my pasta. We told the waiter and the owner came over and was very apologetic and offered us the dish free of charge which was nice but could have offered a little more however being in Italy and with the lack of customer service I was surprised that we got that. The best thing about the meal apart from the view of the lake and setting of the restaurant was the meloncino liqueur we were given at the end of the meal. Delicious !!! Great to try this place once but that’s it.

Very cozy, great location. we stayed in the winter season but, since there is a beautiful terrace on the lake, I recommend to visit in the beautiful season. good price quality ratio.

Restaurant near the lake with a beautiful terrace equipped x eat. Of course we ate inside, given the period. rustic and cosy environment with traditional dishes, first and second with lake fish but also sea (what does sea fish have to do with it? and something with the game. good lazzoccheri and polenta taragna and polenta tancia, very good. very kind staff.
