My favorite restaurant at the Camaldoli, delicious, dishes prepared at the moment and at the season

The food for 4 people was good, but came to hiccups, we complained and made a discount to apologize. It would be appropriate for the kitchen to send food to all four together more or less.

Good and fresh! we ate ravioli urtica (really particular) and burgers of chianina with gray pork bacon of the casentino. excellent visciole tart, good wine of the monks. average price

It was coffee time so we went to this hotel's bar in the late morning, and then after visiting the Antica Farmacia and the Foresteria we came back for lunch. On both occasions the service was poor. At the bar both of the young ladies seemed not to have slept enough; at lunchtime after being seated, we eventually had to call one of the waitresses for service to order, even after seeing two other tables who came after us ordering their meals. We shared two pasta dishes and sautéed greens. The food was satisfactory though not extraordinary. The tortelli with potato was the best dish. We might try another place next time.

We had lunch after visiting the abbey. What a delight. Shiacciata is their specialty. We were in 8 everyone had a different one. I had their wild boar hamburger. A bit dry, as it needs to be well cooked, but very tasty. Definitely a place for lunch while here.
