The owners are a great couple who really meet all their customers. The environment is very family-friendly. We tried most of the items on the menu and the buffet and were always satisfied. The prices are not too bad either.
Italian?. We only ate once. The food is not homemade, but frozen... I asked the server and she said that. My meatball sandwich was cold, even after the server nucked it for me, it was unpredictable. My daughter ordered the chicken alfredo, it's okay, but not done. I paid the bill, was irritated, I didn't get a receipt... they're just text receipts. Wouldn't eat there again. We landed at Hardees when we both starved.
Great food, friendly service and very clean. I'll take my family to Deb's Pizza and Pasta almost weekly. Ms. Deb, and her daughter Kalyn, lead there a tight ship to keep the kitchen right, clean the hands of the staff (she is a fanatic on cleanliness a very good thing! Mrs. Deb is really conscientious about whether people enjoy food and experience. We had almost everything on the menu sandwiches, soups, pastas, etc., but I find myself lately for the thin crust Buffalo Pizza, with a small cup of Bleu Cheese for diving. Another delicious option is the Chicken Feta Pizza. The only cave with Deb's (and it's not a bad thing, from a business perspective it tends to be crowded during lunch. You have to be there at 11:00. Locals have gotten to it, so it's not unusual to see a full parking space directly when the doors open. Great place to eat! Look at this when you're in Poplarville. P.S. Make sure to ask for a bottle of honey; it's great with your left pizza crusts!
You have no Petal review site yet, but please just stay in Poplarville. You do not deserve the one star. Pizza, bland, cold and every pizza on buffet some form of peperoni. Bread sticks are not pizza slices. No dessert pizza. Salad bar leaves much to be desired. Ice cream taste like ice creams ugly cousin (ice milk). The staff is nothing but a bunch of teenagers without training or supervision. All the did was swat flies off pizza, use hones and eat ice cream. No customers but 9 staff with nothing to do. All I asked for was to pull shades down some, windows face west and the sun blinds in the late afternoon. The staff didn't know how to operate. You should not open a restaurant if you don't plan on being there, have good food or service. Poplarville may like this sort of thing, but Petal doesn't. We have taste and expectations for a 16.00 meal to actually be a meal worth paying for.
The food and the service were great.
