Good service and tasty eating what more could you ask?
We experienced terrible service at this restaurant. We waited two and a half hours, and some members of our table of ten still hadn’t received any food. We ended up writing down our own orders and had to ask twice for our drinks. Some people even took it upon themselves to get their drinks. One member of our group complained about the lengthy wait, expressing her desire to eat something, yet she didn't receive any food at all. After two and a half hours, we left without an apology or explanation. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.
The restaurant features a delicious vegan menu, including mock chicken soy nuggets served in curry, tofu dishes, and cheesy naan. They also offer creamy options and yogurt. The food is exceptional, with flavorful items like manchurian and pakoras. Plus, the entire establishment can accommodate a vegan experience!
The restaurant offers a good selection of food, but much of it had a uniformly high level of spiciness. We ordered three appetizers and three main curries, and even the most basic curry, the mixed vegetable dish, had a similar overpowering aroma. The dal tadka, which wasn't even marked as spicy, also had a generous amount of chili or chili seeds. While it's clear that the diners enjoy Indian cuisine for its heat, it can be quite challenging for those with a lower spice tolerance. It would be helpful if the menu provided clearer guidance for those who prefer milder options. We based our choices on their spiciness scale and our usual go-to dishes at other Indian restaurants, but we found that nearly all of them carried an equally intense heat level.
