Splendid Shabu - Pooler

I absolutely loved this restaurant! I had the hot pot where they cook the broth right at the table on a burner. I opted for the flavorful broth with mushrooms and tofu. There’s also a sauce bar where you can mix in different flavors to enhance your broth. Be sure to ask the server which sauces are vegan. The broth was delicious on its own, but adding just the right amount of sauce really takes it to the next level!

This large Asian hot pot restaurant offers a fantastic dining experience. I tried the sweet and tofu dish along with a spicy miso broth, which was absolutely incredible. They have two standard broths and three special broths available in vegan options. The special broths, including the spicy miso, cost about $4 extra. The portion sizes were generous enough that one order could easily serve two meals, but I was quite hungry. Overall, it was a great experience!

Additionally, I noticed a difference in how we were treated. A white family received polite service while we received none upon leaving. The server didn’t greet us or acknowledge our presence when she handed us our items. I hope the restaurant can improve on their customer service in the future.

I loved it there it was relatiw close to i95 so it was good for my trip and def would return when I lived in the opposite

I chose the hot pot option you cook at your table. The miso broth with the vegetarian option includes your choice of noodles (all vegan other than egg noodles), tofu, various mushrooms, bean sprouts, watercress, broccoli, corn, cabbage, etc. The soup was flavorful and nourishing. I enjoyed the simplicity of the meal and relaxed environment.
