The Kitchen Poole Park

TitleFood was good as was the service we received. Chris was serving us and he was excellent, a credit to your business. He had the answer to all the questions we asked. The place was covid safe and toilets were spotless. Look forward to returnimg

I was greeted at the entrance by Chris, who was very efficient and friendly. Despite the Covid restrictions in place, Chris took the time to explain them to us. He was attentive and accommodating, and the food was also quite good.

Had a lovely lunch with my family, served by Billy who was very friendly and efficient. Food was tasty with excellent service and we will definitely return!

Visited with a friend and our two girls. After ordering our food drinks and cakes for us and our children we successfully sat with our two 2 year olds and waited for our food. After a while of waiting my friends daughter was getting hungry. So to console her while waiting and trying to keep her sat still she gave her a small sandwich from a packed lunch prepared for later on. With that a woman working there marched over and said we aren’t to consume food from outside. After an unneeded apology from us and the explanation that we were just waiting for our food she marched off. And within a minute she was back aggressively telling us how it isn’t company policy without any other good reason. With no social distancing She again asked my friend to take the sandwich from her daughter. You can imagine the upset this caused! Iv never been so disgusted by restaurant staff in my life. She made such a scene that tables around us were staring at us. We were so embarrassed. If I hadn’t just spent £20 on quite frankly stale cold food which we barely ate half of, And the promise of cake for the children we would have just walked out. If you don’t want food brought in then make a sign. Or give a good reason why. Other than you obviously just don’t want children there. Our girls behaved beautifully and unfortunately I can’t say the same for that woman. A shame as the other staff were lovely.

My sister came to visit me down from north for the weekend after not seeing her for so long due to COVID19, so I decided to treat her to a late-ish lunch down Poole Park.We came at a busy time, but its a Saturday and the location is beautiful.So we expected that anyway..We were both so impressed the way the Kitchen staff handled social distancing inside as your ordering and waiting for drinks, not many places around here seem to care as much! even when being busy they all still managed to work together and deliver great service, the toilets were absolutely spotless and even had a little station inside were you could clean before and after use which is perfect and made me feel in some way 'safe ' We both had a lovely lunch and coffee sat outside watching the water, with plenty to catch up on!Overall..an amazing experience followed by a great team!Keep it up 'The 'Kitchen ' will definitely be returning.
