We complained and was met with a very curt reply, we aren 't allowed to make it too hot. Health and Safety! We said we 'd like it warming up but they refused. We came back today, as it appeared to be under a new name Coffee Society We had to pay an extra 60p per cup for oat milk, and again it was Luke warm. Had to order a pot of boiling water to warm it up which made it really weak. £8.45 for 2 drinks!!! Looking up, there were cobwebs everywhere, and it wasn 't very clean. Never again.
Part of B and Q building but now gone. Their place has been taken by another business whose name escapes me.
Now known as Coffee Society and run by a different team, this place is an excellent venue to relax and enjoy a quality coffee and sandwich. The staff are lovely and always smiling despite having a tough job. The place is always very clean and tidy and speaks volumes about the pride the staff have of their workplace. Highly recommended!
This restaurant has excellent coffee and amazing staff who are always friendly and polite. Stuart and Katia are always serving with a smile, making every visit a pleasure. The service here is truly exceptional. Thank you for treating us so well.
Visited on a Sunday lunchtime and it was pretty busy with only one table available. You go to the counter to order and pay. There was a reasonable choice from a menu which is written up on a board above the counter. We chose a large cappuccino and Americano plus two bacon rolls. They also had a selection of toasted sandwiches and baguettes plus cakes. They give you a paddle with a number on it for your food order. The coffee was good, a nice tasty blend. The food arrived soon after and was really good, a nice brioche roll with plenty of bacon and tomato sauce in sachets to add as you require. All very good and far far better than our last visit.
