Whatever, this was a great meal! Both had Bruschetta to start and it was excellent. Sweet tomatoes, crunchy toast, olive oil and very garlicky!I had sea bass fillet with olives and tomato sauce as main along with baby roasted potatoes. Fillet was huge, way bigger than normally served in restaurants and was lovely. Not a fan of olives so next time would request they were left off, but fish and sauce were really lovely, as werethe potatoes. Other half had spaghetti bolognese (and some of my potatoes! and said it was great. We will be back!
We are in holiday and we popt in just for a coffee, this morning 29th June, and the gentleman (the columbian one,I don't know he's name unfortunately he made our day, he was so nice so kind, so rare to meet a nice staff, as I'm working in hospitality I know how hard it is, it was a good vibe inside, happy staff, we will come back I'm sure
Taken to this restaurant for a fathers day treat. The wife had a pizza that was mediocre at best, my daughter had pasta that looked like it was out of a packet. Another pizza swimming in oil for the son, looking forward to theamb I was given 3 of the smallest, fat laden pieces of lamb I've seen and a hand full of overly seasoned new potatoes. Over priced and paying for the view. I had read the reviews but didn't want to sound ungrateful as it was a treat. I ended up footing the bill as I could not see my wife treat me to such rubbish. Go to another Italian by all means but give this s miss.
Had an evening meal and a choice between the steak place next door (which I've been to and thought was excelemt) we chose to go Italian. After choosing our meal, we received the wrong antipasti as it wasn't actually clarified by the waiter at the of ordering. When it arrived we found out and reordered the correct seafood antipasti.2 of the mains came and my Carbonara was more like pasta with bacon and a bit of shaved cheese. The 3rd main finally came as 2 mains had finished and we were thinking about leaving. I asked to cancel the steak and it came as I was in the middle of discussing this.We paid up at the end of the meal, wasn't offered any discount and do not feel we got value from the £105 bill.I won't be rushing back here in a hurry. Went to the steakhouse the following night and the experience was far superior.
We went in for lunch, (at about 12:30) should have realised why they were so quiet! Ordered first item, Grilled Prawns or Prawns cooked in Chilli, so I ordered the grilled prawns and asked to ensure no chilli as I can’t eat anything spicy. Only to be told they are already marinated in chilli! So chose next item on the menu only to be told sorry they haven’t got that. After trying to select another two items on the menu only to be told “sorry not been delivered yet” I gave up and said we will go somewhere else! As Mum had already placed her order (yes they actually had that in stock but not something that I enjoy) the waiter still had the nerve to ask if she still wanted her order! She said no and asked if we were going to be charged for the juice she was drinking and fortunately they said no they won’t. We left and certainly won’t be back again!
