There is a nice big car park at the rear with a ramp, but there is quite a step up into the door. I'm not sure if they have another entrance that is better for disabled access. With my daughter's support and a stick, I was able to manage the step. The burger was decent for the price - you can choose three toppings. I opted for bacon, gherkins, and cheese, and it came with chips and two onion rings. It's not anything special, but for £5, it's a bargain. We also ordered two mocktails at £2.99 each, which were very nice. So, dinner for two only cost us £15, which is great value. I noticed that seniors 60+ can get two dishes for £5.49, which is incredibly cheap. The restaurant is also a sports pub, with lots of TVs around, but it didn't disrupt our meal. I would consider going back for a mid-week lunch or a sports event, but not for a special occasion or romantic date. Overall, it's excellent value for money.
The renovated pub was disappointing, as the staff seemed solely focused on taking your money. They were not very friendly and occasionally rude. The food appeared to be microwaved and passed off as fresh. This establishment is just another profit-driven Green King operation. I would recommend avoiding this place.
This local pub is a great spot to enjoy tasty food at affordable prices, with friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend trying the food here, it's a nice place to relax and unwind.
Visited the pub with family and had the festive menu which was delicious. Very good quality food and portion sizes. Staff very attentive and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Very nice pub and would definitely recommend.
