Custom House Cafe - Poole

We are thrilled that the Customs House has reopened. We have dined there twice recently and have been impressed with the decor and atmosphere. The bar has been moved back a few meters, opening up the room more. So far, we have tried the nachos, ribs, mackerel crab, and a delicious burger with Monterey Jack cheese and crispy onion rings. The food was fantastic, the service was great, and we found the quality to be excellent for the price. We live only two hundred meters away, so we will definitely be regulars at this restaurant. Wow, we booked a party of 11 people for dinner tonight and it was absolutely fantastic. The service was excellent and the price was great. Many thanks to Fab, Dan, Nick, and all of the other employees. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be returning.

The staff was very polite, friendly and helpful. the entrance to the building is incredibly spacious, modern and light, while the museum offers them a good view into the environment and the local community. the caffe has a good selection of cakes and a beautiful coffee and a beautiful view of the quay. in the summer months it is a great place to sit outside and cozy inside during the winter months. entering the museum is free, but donations are welcome. the load is bright and airy, and the staff gave a friendly greeting when I arrived. it is very well stocked and great for tourist who want to take a memento of poole. I think it's a great place to visit for all age groups.

A museum in a lovely old grain store. It has a modern cafe with terrace, coffee and food reasonably priced. We sat on the terrace overlooking the old town. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, well worth a visit. And it's FREE ENTRY

Excellent facilities on 3 floors with good disabled access. Very good for all ages, with plenty to see from the very long history of the Poole area. Very well set out permanent and visiting exhibitions. The cafe has a lovely small balcony with a few tables and an interesting view of the old shops, houses and the quay. Reasonable prices here, but who's complaining when there is no entrance fee? Highly recommended.
