Yamato Steak House Of Japan - Pontotoc

We ordered combination dishes that included chicken, shrimp, and steak. Unfortunately, the steak was served rare, and we couldn't cook it further. The server returned to our table twice while we were still eating, asking me to pay. When she came a third time, I finally decided to stop eating, settle the bill, and leave. This wasn't the quality of food or service I expect from a $70 meal!

The food was excellent, and the service was impressive. However, a $14.57 tip on the bill for a group of five, especially when paying separately, seems excessive.

This was my first experience with sushi and this restaurant, and I have to say, our server Michael was incredibly kind, funny, and very helpful. He made the whole experience enjoyable. You really get to see everything...

They only had one waitress. She was amazing! She needed a raise for her great festive attitude and paramount customer service! I know people my disagree. But it's not easy serving the public. I wish people would be mindful of that. A waitress can only do what her boss tells her to do.

Very good food. Not great service though, the waitress was very distracted and inattentive. I know things can get stressful in the field of waitressing but it was not busy at all, only 3 in our party, amd we weren't demanding of anything so it should have been a fairly easy task. Cleanliness was ok. Didn't use the restroom while there so I'm not sure hiw that was. Good food though.
