La Longere - Pontivy

This restaurant is not at the address shown on TA. It is 13 minutes away in a village called Malguenac, on Rue du Chateau d'eau. 11 euros 40 bought us 3 courses with wine. Friendly owners who spoke some English the place was packed and the food was excellent. This will become a regular haunt for us.

We stopped by one day during lunch and keep coming back. Their lunches are delicious and you get a full plate along with an appetizer and dessert! We often stop by for their dinner crepes which are also fully plated. Always such a nice and kind service. Clean restaurant. Quick meal (if you choose) and you always leave very full!

We've showed up for lunch on a few occasions and always felt extremely welcomed. The service is thorough and the food is copious and quite delish!

We have visited La Longere over a number of years. The food is of a very high standard, crepes or salads or grills and reasonably priced. The restaurant is spotlessly clean and we are always made very welcome and dietary needs are always catered for. Wish we had a restaurant like this near our home in Yorkshire.

Admittedly several years ago, but this creperie used to be really good with delightful friendly staff, an extensive choice of crepes and different menu options all cooked freshly and efficiently in the spotless kitchen before your eyes. Now it feels run down and the staff, although reasonably friendly, appear weighed down by the responsibility of running their restaurant and do not have that enjoyment of their work that good establishments have. The place seems tired and dusty. The menu choice is average but not innovative and all a bit predictable. We had to ask twice for water, although there was no one else dining at the time. The food was hot but not well presented and my crepe was overcooked. Another party came in whilst we were there and they seemed to have slightly better service to begin with, but we did not see their meals. We were not offered coffee at the end of our meal which is unheard of in France. Average price for the meal, but a disappointing experience. We will not return.
