Zara Shawarma Grill - Pontiac

I stopped by this restaurant in search of a meal that fits my diet plan. The young man working there not only took the time to assist me, but the custom dish he prepared for me was incredible! If I ever find myself in the Flint area again, I will definitely be coming back. I regret not taking a photo, but I was too busy enjoying the food.

I ordered delivery this time, opting for the falafel bowl. Unfortunately, I was disappointed as I frequent this restaurant often and usually enjoy the bowls. However, this time the falafel was overcooked and hard, making it inedible. Additionally, there was an excessive amount of cabbage and pickles compared to rice, which was also not enjoyable. I ended up hungry and $20.00 poorer, as the portion size seemed smaller than when dining in-person. I am giving this experience 3 stars, as I have had better meals here before and wonder if it was just a fluke. I recommend maintaining consistency in the quality of the dishes offered. Good vegetarian options are available.

I have to say that the restaurant was not busy at all when I went in. The food was exceptional and the staff were fantastic. I would give it a 5 out of 5 for the food.

It's the worst restaurant ever . The chicken and meat shawarma are dry and almost old, and I can't imagine what spices are like. Falafel is also dry and solid and not tasty. The restaurant is very dirty. It was a terrible experience.Even ONE START is more than enough .Food: 1/5

Great place to eat. One of my favorites. It's a quick in and out. I get the shawarma bowl with chicken with ALL the vegetables. It's really good.Food: 5/5
