Recanto Das Lagoas - Ponte de Lima

Recently moved to the area for the summer. Decided to have a lunch at this restaurant which seems very nice to end a long drive in the mountain region of Portugal. WHAT A DISSAPOINTMENT. The service was mediocre. We ordered Bitoque (a thing beef steak with a fried egg on top) and Cabrito (goat) both served with french fries and rice. Bitoque has to be be most served dish in Portugal and this restaurant managed to over-cook it to a shoe sole state. Even the egg was fried dry. The cabrito was dry, over cooked and tasteless. The service was simply bad. The servers simply did not show any care in the patrons, not professional, and apparently inexperienced. If you hope to end a lovely drive in the Minho region by going to this beautiful Lagoas Park, pack a lunch or eat elsewhere in Ponte de Lima. This restaurant is a miss. The bathrooms were clean so, if you need to relieve yourself, stop and move on!

Comida tradicional a um preço excelente. Costumo ir ao Domingo em que fazem o menu que inclui pão, azeitonas, sopa, bebida, prato, sobremesa e café e fica entre 16€ e 18,50€ por pessoa. Mas o prato é muito bem servido e geralmente sobra comida p o jantar Infelizmente, por mais que uma vez as batatinhas assadas estavam muito salgadas. As funcionárias são umas queridas, super atenciosas!

Super petit resto ou on mange très bien et prix très correct et personnel très convivial essaie de parler le français

Trop beaucoup trop long Réservation pour Repas servi à On nous donne le choix sur les plats mais pas tous car trop long à cuisiner. Bon bah pas trop de choix au final. Nous sommes enfin servis le repas reste bon il ne faut pas noircir le tableau. Les portions sont énormes. On demande à ramener les reste il faut payer le ramequin en aluminium. C’est à priori souvent le cas au Portugal Mais la salle de restaurant est climatisée mais très très bruyante.Les serveurs et les cuisiniers ont fait ce qu’ils peuvent mais le personnel n’est pas assez nombreux. Trop de plat en commande est extérieur et ceux qui sont au restaurant sont les premiers à en pâtir. Je en reviendrai très certainement pas
