Petiscas - Ponte de Lima

Small restaurant with a beautiful terrace on a quiet place and in the shade (ideal during the hot summer.) it is on the other side of the river compared also the lively city center. So if you are looking for a nice quiet place to eat in ponte de lima, this is the place. it has traditional, regional dishes and a good wine card. we have tiras de porco with kartoffels and cabbage. the pork is grilled over fire and that's it. it is simple, but very well done. it shows the quality of the ingredient and it is simply very good. we also had melone with presunto as starter and half a bottle of wine (the wee was on the expensive side of their menu). for two people we paid €46. it is a good value for money. I really enjoyed my lunch and I strongly recommend.

Beautiful location, but very bad service from an rude and creepy waiter. the food was good, but for the price I expected more portioning. it's expensive. I will not go back because it was not a pleasant experience.

Excellent food. Service not okay, brought our main course when still eating the starter.. we were alone on the terrace… can do better…

Een zeer lekkere regionaal Portugese keuken met gigantische porties. Veel vlees dat zeer lekker bereid is. De groenten zijn traditioneel niet overvloedig aanwezig. De wijnkaart vermeldt geen jaargangen en is zeer uitgebreid. Het is niet mogelijk om een enkel glas wijn te drinken. Er zijn wel enkele halve flesjes te verkrijgen maar enkel in de laagste categorie.
