Adega Regional - Ponta Delgada

Me encantan los restaurantes con sillas y mesas de madera y manteles tradicionales, siempre siento que voy a comer comida auténtica en la zona, y el restaurante adega cumple con las expectativas. Tomé una gran carne de becerro, y el bacalao en el horno que mi compañero tomó, con patatas, también estaba muerto. Es casi siempre lleno, y es de los pocos en el centro de la zona delgada ponta que se abren los domingos por la noche.

Only from the main roads, this small restaurant serves fresh fish and meat with beautiful service. I was lucky to have a table right away as soon as he was packed. Had shark steak and salad on one side. Shortly after sitting the waiters brought bread and cheese u to pay, for it did not take long as in other restaurants with much more staff and less busy. 2 guys ran full of restaurant smooth and with great service.

Very decent place with excellent fresh seafood (catch of the day). Prices are very low and oriented on locals (no English menus but English speaking personnel). we paid for supreme dinner only 33€

I found this gem purely by chance walking around on my first night on the island. I had the beef steak: the meat was so tender and juicy. So I went back on the second night and started to work my way through the fish menu with the shark steak, which turned out to be very good as well. Would recommend.

The food was great and the two waiters were very friendly. We had the grilled cod (big, garlic, but with bone) and the shark steak (excellent, comes with cold beans and salad on the side)
