It may not be a Fairmont or Hilton but it is perfect for just a short stay and a cheap rate! They have an awesome restaurant and the staff is friendly and helpful. I was a bit weary of the last review on here mentioning "Bed Bugs" which has proven to be completely false! They even have passed with flying colours on their safety/pest inspections. Whoever has written that there is "Bed Bugs" at this hotel was sadly mistaken and was probably a very angry customer as to which reason is unknown. All I can say is if you are looking for a CLEAN and CHEAP motel, do not hesitate to stay at Riverside Motor Inn as you will not be disappointed.
We were trying to save a few dollars by staying in a cheaper hotel. We didn't last two hours, we were all itchy! The beds were infested with bedbugs!! There were tiny ones and a couple large ones, we got out of there within minutes! We left our luggage in our truck and will be washing all our clothing and throwing away our luggage. We hope and pray we do not take those nasty things home. The hotel is dingy and smelled stale. They withheld $58 of our $218 that was suppose to be a two night stay! Beware all you thrifty lodgers! Saving a few bucks is so not worth bringing home a potential bedbug infestation.
Stayed for a weekend, price was very reasonable (we're on a tight budget) and the owners were very friendly. Great Chinese restaurant with a buffet, girlfriend got some hot and sour soup which was some of the best I've ever had while I had a tasty deluxe mushroom burger. We were very concerned by the last review but luckily, no sign of any bugs in our suite (made sure to check under the covers before committing). Everything was clean (though some of the furniture was aged) and we had a great stay. Only issue was that the lounge was a bit on the quiet side though the beer was pretty cheap! Would definitely recommend!
Basque style food done right! I recommend the Escargot Basque Casserole Dish 9,50€, Veal Escalope 16,50€ and Ajualerro 14,50€.
