Porch Grill Kanjirappally - Ponkunnam

This was my first time at porch grill even though I quiet frequently visit Kanjirapally. I was recommended to eat here. I wanted to try their Alfam but due to time constraint I ordered their pot biriyani. I wasn’t a fan of it. Heavily over spiced rice, as well as the chicken was too spicy. The ratio of chicken to rice was not too good. They could have included two pieces for the biriyani, plus a fried piece. The chicken was over cooked and was pretty hard to eat. A very normal add on to a biriyani is pappdum and that wasn’t provided either. With an over spiced biriyani they served raita which also has chilis in it. Typically a raita is served to balance the rich spices in a biriyani but it did not do any justice to the whole combo. Last but not the least, it is highly suggested to add an air conditioner

The Food was actually good, some extra spicy, but that's okay ,it adds an extra bit of taste to the food , overall it was good except for one thing , waiting time is literally high...
