Third time there for the King and Queen. This time was probably the anomaly. Things started going wrong with the reservation. They should have told us that they had a private party going on at the same time which almost completely filled the restaurant. 'Also, unbeknownst to us, they have music on Friday and Saturday evenings. It was very loud and we were unable to have a conversation among the four of us. Why does a restaurant this small and this popular need to have loud music? Eventually they moved us to the soundproof area of the restaurant. Before that happened, a wine glass literally exploded on the table, maybe from the vibration of the singer, but more likely from the cheap wine glass. The Queen had shattered glass on her lap and wine on her outfit which she had to toss in the trash when she got home. To add insult to injury, they charged a corkage fee of $15. When our food arrived, the Queen 's fish soup was not nearly as abundant as the last time we were there. The pasta for the King 's chicken parm platter arrived five minutes after the chicken parm arrived. Same thing with one of the other guests and her veal parm platter. In general, there was a total lack of attention paid to us by the wait staff and no apologies offered. It was an extremely disappointing evening for which I had to apologize to my guests. Totally embarrassed by it all.

We didn’t have reservations. Big mistake. So make them. We waited a long time. This place isn’t big. The food was ok but expensive. My meal came out Luke warm and my little bowl of pasta that cost $5 was cold. It seems to be a family place. People just stayed and hung around.

But it was worth it! Had dinner here with friends on Saturday nite. Lara took good care of us. I was thinking about Funghi Papardelli for a week before. It's top shelf, totally delicious. Out 6 friends all enjoyed the food here. It was a tough time for them. Please support La Forketta, it's a meal you won't soon forget.

Waited too long to be serviced. Once we received our service it was the wrong plate. When complaint was given they said they understood something else. Never going back.

For the money not worth it. What is there too say. Not satisfied. We will never be back. Your competitor next down is much better and much more reasonable. Food is delicious and you get what you pay for. You need to improve or close the door.
