Houston's - Pompano Beach

Good quality food, large restaurant, very noisy and decor still in the 80's. Salads were good and would go there again if someone wanted to. Entrees were mediocre and very pricey. If I want to spend that for a meal there are other places to go for sure but if you want to people watch, have a drink and indulge in appetizers and salad ok then take a shot.

The smoked salmon appetizer is delicious. Also was the Crab topped Snapper. This fish was very tasty and fresh. Nice atmosphere, good service.

Wow! We were impressed with the quality of our food and service. My husband ordered the club sandwich, which is only served on Sundays. He raved over and over again about the club sandwich and wish there was a way he could order the same sandwich in Richmond. My mother and I ordered the cheeseburger with bacon. Magnificent. Extremely juicy and not dry. Tasty to the last crumb. The fries were delicious. The view outside on the deck is to die for with the waterway and the boats.

The menu is plain and Boring!! For $30 a plate you expect something more than broil fish with tartar sauce, grilled ribeye, bbq ribs, fried shrimp and peel and eat shrimp...seriously I thought I was at a '70 's steakhouse- where 's the culinary creativity!!!

Food was fine but service was poor. My friend who has cancer was wearing a ball cap and the host refused to sit us in the main room. She said we could sit in the bar area! We did but my friend was hurt.
