N/A FAIR pricing: Yes, definitely FEE processing: None. Accepts credit cards FREE parking: Yes, small lot but lots of other free parking in Old Towne area FYI: Great dining choice if you 're in the mood for classic American fare (few cute shops in the area), they even have private dining room option upstairs FOUR 1/2 stars '
Slow service, burnt food, and you pissed off my friends! This is supposed to be a high end steak house and you pull this??? You can get a better rib eye at Black Angus for 1/4 the price! STEP UP YOUR GAME!
We went right before dinner service (1:45), so the place was pretty empty. We opted to sit at the bar for a few drinks while we waited for the dinner service to start. We decided to order an appetizer while we waited. We waited a while at an almost empty bar to order drinks and waited just as long to receive them. Not to mention a longer wait for the appetizers (stuffed mushrooms) just to come almost burnt. We finished up and got to our table. We were greeted promptly and ordered a bottle of wine which, again, seemed like forever to receive. We noticed a large party of 11 behind us, and I figured that was why it was a little slower since the rest of the restaurant was empty. So we decided to be a little more patient. We ordered another appetizer (stuffed jalapeños) as well as our steaks. Again, we waited and waited, I was deciding whether or not we wanted to leave, but then here come the jalapeños......burnt. We called the manager over and explained we would pay for the wine but we were leaving. She seemed apologetic at first but then ended with next time say something so we can fix it. Never going back.....AND it was my birthday.
Brunch Review: Stopped by Chase's on a Sunday right when they opened. Beautiful day and sat outside on the patio. We ordered the chicken waffles and the carnitas Benedict. Both were delicious, but the chicken waffles stole the show- definitely would order again. Hubby had the ****** Mary and said it was good! Perfect start to a Sunday Funday, adding Chase's to our brunch rotation now!
So my hubby decided to take me out for our wedding anniversary diner, I was so excited when the waitress told me the special of the night was sear scallops. I'm used to high quality food they serve all the times... I was so disappointed when my scallops got to the table with the strong smell, fishy ugh my stomach sunk ... I have worked in the seafood industry and scallops don't suppose smell fishy but fresh and sweet. It was late and I didn't want to deal with returning the plate . At $44.00 a plate for 4 scallops I was expecting quality and flavor... none of those meet this plate. Needless to say my dinner was ruined...
