Antigoni Taverne - Polygyros

Loved the food here, came for 3 nights in a row without a reservation. The service seems chaotic, but they are pretty fast and nice. The only thing that bothered us was the poor lighting, in some areas of the terrace coming only from the public lightpost...

We have had 7 times lunch in this restaurant, due to their superior food quality and service level. They have very large selection of fresh sea fish and squids. They fry and serve it professionally, spices and grill taste are very good. Local cheese offering (grilled Feta and Haloumni is also very good. 5 stars out of 5. We go back back tomorrow (8 times to try the rest of the menu. ; Also called as fish/ squid girls cheese man :

Wonderful view (over the sea), loved the blue and white theme of the terrace. Very good service, nice and attendive staff. The food was really good (although not the best mousaka I have eaten in Greece, but good). I was delighted to find that they had Boujourdi on the menu (a Greek cheese specialty, usually found in Crete. Not as delicious as there, but good to try it again, since I was looking for it on many Greek islands). Also they had a small desert from the house. But deserts are not on the menu. Overall, I recommend it!

I went there because there was lamb on the menu. Unfortunately they were out of lamb. I had veal instead and it was great. They also have bougiurdi which I strongly recommend. Desert is on the house, you can't find it on the menu. They gave us some kind of vanilla mousse. It was ok. Overall I recommend it.

The best restaurant in Nikiti. Trust me authentic, Greek, cheaper than most on the main street yet delicious. No nonsense tavern with friendly staff and fast service. Good place for larger groups.
