This place is a gem! The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The veggie breakfast burritos are the best I’ve ever had. Get the hot salsa too absolutely worth it!

This was such a great stop from Tahoe! Off the beaten path and worth it. Had a delicious soup and very accommodating with our toddler.

Absolutely delicious homemade food. Portions are generous and perfectly prepared. The biscuits and gravy on sundays are out of this world! Margo you are an awesome purveyor of deliciousness baked goods!

There aren't many food options in Pollock Pines, but for lunch, I highly recommend Southfork. Their sandwiches are tasty and filling! The shop itself is small and cute. They have a selection of pastries and desserts as well. Plenty of tables to sit and have your sandwich, or grab it to go.Besides sandwiches, the shop has a good selection of indoor house plants and some local art to shop from while you wait for your order.Parking: surface lot, plenty of parking spots.Wheelchair accessibility: first floor, no stairs.

Food (taco Tuesday) mediocre, would have given 3 stars based on food. But that isn 't the problem, their customer service is lacking and rude. Problem is, it 's snowing and we have our 3 month old who needs to be changed. I look in the bathrooms and there are no changing tables. I see a bench near the bathroom area. I ask the lady who took our order if I could use the bench to change his diaper since there is no changing table in the bathroom and we 'd have to walk back to the car in the snow with our kid. Lady says no, people sit on there and my Halloween decorations are on there with annoyance in her voice. The halloween decorations were just crumpled on the side and there was plenty of room to put my baby on it. Then she realized she was wrong when I said it 's just a bench, and I can 't change my kid on it? You don 't have a changing table . Then she said well, I guess I can move my Halloween decorations . We said nope, thats fine because we already knew her sentiment that she didn 't want us using the bench. Called them to let them know that incident was wrong since I didn 't want to make a scene in the restaurant. And all the girl on the phone said was I 'm sorry you feel that way . Obviously just trying to stick up for her coworker and not caring about what I was saying. Totally inconsiderate. It doesn 't even matter that there was no changing table, but the fact she didn 't accommodate in the first place. Parents, don 't being your babies here, not family friendly and just downright unwelcoming/weird vibes.
