Meraviglioso - POLIGNANO A MARE

Pretentious and not super friendly atmosphere. They spray your hands when you arrive. What is it? Chemicals? Soon after we were approached to have a local champagne (surprise #2). 60 Euros, without letting us know. It seemed like a gift, or treat… but No. We had 4 tasting plates, that when on for 3.5 hours. Exhausting yet tasteful. Would not return. Not sure why Michelin rates this place for service.

Excellent food and high class service at this fine restaurant. We had lunch here on a fine day with lovely views across Polignano; wood smoked octopus for starter was delicious, the seabass was perfectly cooked and both desserts (one brioche and one lemon and ginger sorbet) were very good indeed. Lovely and helpful staff all in all a fantastic long and lazy lunch...

If you are looking for a « wonderful » dinner experience in Polignano old town, this is the place to go. Next to Modugno songer statue , you would taste the gastronomic version of the local food, enjoying the excellent service and the advise from the sommelier. Occasionnally people will gather around Domenico Modugno statue nearby and sing Volare while guest would enjoy the spectacular sea view( outdoor dinner recommended). special thanks to a French speaking staff Stefania! Posto davvero meraviglioso. servizio per dire poco eccellente. Lo consiglio vivamente.

Per evitare fino a quando il lavoro è completato sulla passeggiata. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è molto costoso, le porzioni sono molto piccole (e non siamo mangioni), la scelta dell'aperitivo è molto limitata, alcuni vini indicati sulla carta sono finiti, peccato che non offrano il caffè shakerato. Ottimo servizio. Il menu pubblicato sul sito non è aggiornato.
