Beautiful setting, fantastic ingredients treated in a delicious way, with a lot of understanding about traditions (I am from Apulia).

Stayed one night in this beautiful Masseria agrotourism farm property. Gorgeous room. We booked dinner and it was outstanding. Like a high class restaurant without the price tag! Lovely pool but no time to use it but walked round the farm grounds. The ancient olives are wonderful

Today we had a delicious degustation lunch at this very pretty Masseria. The food was top class and our waiter was so attentive and friendly. I couldn’t believe the lunch including wine was so reasonably priced!! After lunch we were treated by the owner to a short tour around the olive grove and 18th century chapel. I highly recommend having a meal in the Puglia countryside.

I picked this place as the closure to my first trip to Italy and unfortunately I arrived at the airport with a bitter taste in my mouth.. Personally I only care about the food so this will be the basis of my review. So many great ingredients, so much potential is wasted here, it's so easy to spot the lack of effort put from the chefs in both presentation and cooking. The portions made me think that maybe business is not booming as the beautiful location would misslead you to believe and the management is trying to cut corners. I will never know if this is true but, that is the impression I genuenly got. To end on a positive note, the focacha and the free grapes were great!
