Savage Shrimp - Poipu

I'm not quite sure why this restaurant doesn't have higher ratings. I thought my meal was fantastic! The portions were enormous, and everything stayed crispy, even after I took it home. My boyfriend and I couldn't finish either of our entrees in one sitting. I ordered the spicy shrimp plate, and it actually had a nice kick to it, which really satisfied my cravings.

Delicious shrimp! It was a perfect treat after a long hike in Kauai! The staff was very friendly! We’ll definitely return!

I don't understand why this place has such a low rating. The garlic shrimp dish was packed with flavor and wonderfully juicy, not at all rubbery. The fish and chips could have used a bit more salt, but the fish itself was quite good. My only issue was with the chips (fries), which were soggy and not impressive.

Tasty shrimp cooked with many different sauce options or you can choose fried or as a taco. I had garlic and butter on my shrimp.Yum! Bummer that you have to pay extra for them to peel it for you. : Get there early before they run out of stuff no fish by the time we arrived around 6pm and they ran out of coleslaw while we were there). I recommend this place if you are in Poipu.

The no frills take out shrimp shack is affordable and very much worthy of 5 stars. Be prepared to enjoy shrimp dishes on the go. Pick some up and go sit by the ocean..I treasure island delight!
