Seafood Stop - POINT CROSS

Stopped here for their lobster rolls and Lobster club sandwich and the food was excellent and of course you can't beat the service anywhere on the Cabot Trail! Loved it!

Good food in Cheticamp? It seems it doesn't exist. A local had suggested Seafood Stop when I expressed an interest in local seafood. Our lunch was ...well, pretty awful. And on top of that, expensive and poor value for the quality of the food. I began with the seafood chowder cup which athough priced at $11 was minute and only a low fair in taste. I followed that with halibut and mashed potatoes while my partner had the fish cakes. A pecan tart was next. Each course was ...meh, and small in size. People at the next table had lobster $50) which was small in size looked unappealing. My suggestion is to not stop for the Seafood Stop.

Although we only stopped for dessert and coffee, we were quickly sat and service was friendly and efficient. The dinner menu looked good for seafood lovers and the prices were average.

Two for Dinner. This place is the local hot spot for a reason. Friendly efficient server, great food at a reasonable price. They also have a store with frozen seafood goodies.
