Master's Inn - POGGIO RENATICO

Poggio Renatico, nestled a mere 10 miles from the hustle and bustle of Ferrara, is not only the place where I 've the pleasure to live, but much more significantly is the home of the Master 's Inn, going also under the old name of Victor 's Pub, an unique place from many points of view. As a regular client, in 100+ occasions I was never disappointed. No a single time. And this datum itself deserves consideration. As long as I restrained my choice to the often glorified Flammenküche, (in particular the Forestiére version , one might conclude that I 'm an unrepentant monomaniac a definition that I can easily decline or that the Flammenküche is the only praise deserving recipe in the Master 's Inn offer and this would be even more misleading. In fact, the Flammenküche epitomizes a very peculiar, definitely un Italian, style of pizza making. The few unfavorable reviews of the place are from people addicted to more classical, less interesting and less digestible kind of pizzas: they simply didn 't understand the uniqueness and the excellence of the place. About what brought 500 miles south such an unusual recipe, I just may add that the pizza chef is a former Colonel of the French Armée de l 'Air, who held for several years a commanding position in the nearby military radar station, perhaps the biggest in Italy. He found a most good reason to remain here in Poggio Renatico (and in his place I too would have remained anywhere! and so, thanks to love, our town became a stronghold of the Alsatian Flammenküchen tradition. Not to be missed! You would sorely regret it....

Ristorante molto carino, con personale gentile e disponibile. La pizza è davvero buona e leggera da digerire.

Locale in posizione centralissima di Poggio, ampio, luminoso e arredato con gusto moderno. Lo staff a partire da Emanuele è esempio alto di professionalità, accoglienza e cordialità. Menù vario e gustoso che si avvale di prodotti tipici locali e di piatti famosi rivisitati; inoltre è da segnalare la selezione di birre artigianali pensate ad hoc per ogni portata. A ogni cena si esce soddisfatti e col sorriso che vi auguro altrettanto!

Bel locale, staff giovane e gentile, pizza veramente molto buona e leggera e ottimi dolci! Bravi!
