Terminato con dolci molto ben fatti: fazzoletto con pasta di mandorle, o il semifreddo alla cupeta! Personale molto professionale ed attento! Ps non ho trovato la signora che dirige sgradevole ma molto preparata!
Had a meal tonight and while the kitchen is good, there seems to be two menus. This was our most expensive meal of our trip the menu was good, but two tables next to us were locals And had a menu that we were never offered at different prices. This is unacceptable to treat tourists who want to encourage you in this way A real disappointment and a contrast to the way we were treated on Sunday when it was Mother's Day If you want to encourage tourists, then do not abuse them you have the opportunity to go elsewhere
We came here as a group of four for a Sunday dinner. The outdoor area was a beautiful courtyard that felt very special. I shared the raw seafood star who was great and so big that I was glad I shared. In particular, the raw shrimp as soon as I came over my squeamishness was delicious and so fresh. The beef baked in Negroamaro wine was delicate and tasty. We enjoyed all our meals. Dinner for four with bread, four glasses of wine, three appetizers and four entrees came to €101. Our server spoke English very well.
We had great hopes, because the Piazza is one of some Guida Osterie Slow Food restaurants in the region. Unfortunately, this has proved to be wrong expectations. The dishes we started were moderate. When we later wanted to try the mix of...appearants we were very careful to ensure with the English menu that all were either vegetarian or fish, as we haven't eaten meat for decades. We also checked with the only English-speaking waiter who confirmed that there was absolutely no meat in one of the ordered appetizers. After we had both eaten by the timbal appetizer, we noticed a peculiar taste and asked another waiter what the appetizer actually contained. She explained that it contained meat sausage. When we wanted to talk to the first waiter who had first confirmed that none of the appetizers contained meat, he told us he had forgotten the meat. He apologized by saying that only one of the appetizers was actually meat. Unfortunately, he did not recognize the seriousness of the problem. Very unprofessional.
Recommended by our hotel we came here with modest expectations. Instead, the place was friendly, the food was good and the wines even better. If this were not such an out-of-the-way place, it would be much more famous.
