Chubbyz' - Pocatello

The menu at this salad and sandwich shop is surprisingly extensive. While I didn't absolutely love my meal, it was still quite good, and I'm definitely open to giving it another try. As I walked in, I spotted some tempting-looking fries that I assumed were the ChubbyZ' fries, but they turned out to be heavily seasoned and a bit spicy for my liking. Additionally, the dressing that accompanied my garden salad had a bit of a kick to it. I realize now that if I had taken some time to research or ask for recommendations, I could have chosen regular fries and a salad that suited my taste better. So, I'll take responsibility for that since there were plenty of options available.

We stopped here while driving through, and I really wish we had one closer to home! The prices are reasonable, and the food is absolutely delicious. I ordered the shrimp po' boy, which was packed with shrimp and had a nice hint of spice in the sauce. The hoagie bun was soft yet sturdy. I devoured half of it before I remembered to take a picture! My husband had the pulled pork sandwich, which was sweet, and the coleslaw was well-seasoned. The bread held up nicely. He thought it could have used a bit more BBQ sauce. We both tried their house fries, which our kids said tasted like ramen; they definitely had that savory flavor with a nice kick of heat (my kids helped us finish them!). The meals for the kids were good as well. I love the variety on the menu and the great service we received. I will definitely stop by again when we’re in the area!

We came back and they?re still killing it. I ordered the special: Smith and Wesson Burger, Delicious! I added some more pictures. So impressed with this place. There was a super rude couple in front of us but the customer service was still there.Thanks again ChubbyZ! My wife and I shared the Pastrami sandwich and we got the house fries. Fantastic all the way around. TheService, the food and the atmosphere. It?s our first time and it won?t be our last!

My son enjoyed his hamburger, saying it was excellent. However, I wasn't fond of the cobb salad. Next time, I plan to try their delicious pulled pork.
