The Ladybird Bakery - Plymouth

We urgently needed a birthday cake and the lovely woman running the shop went out of her way to help us out. We ended up with a delicious Victoria sponge which just needed defrosting and its price was extremely competitive. This is quite a nice...place to have a coffee and get your cards read for you. I wish we would have had more time.

I came across this bakery on the gluten free by the sea website and decided to visit for lunch with my daughter. They had a good selection of pasties, pies, quiches and cakes. I had a tasty gluten free pasty and the friendly owner Donna...made up a jam sandwich for my daughter. We finished with a slice of delectable chocolate cake- yum! We can't wait to visit again when we are next in Plymouth!

Loads of amazing safe gluten free cakes, pies, pasties, crumbles, sausage rolls! Everything tastes great and is made with lots of love!

What a godsend this place is. My friend is dairy free and loves their carrot cake. I love thier ability to cater to all needs as I am diabetic, so Donna makes muffins and cakes for me. Love the place the banter.. Mr X
