Sweet Afton Tea Room - Plymouth

Oh I could write a book on this shop! I've been going here for years. Discovered it back in early 2013. And I'll tell anyone who'll listen about it. The food is delightful. The display is even better. The staff is so kind, offers to take photos of you if you've got a group, all with a smile. The tea is the best, and the quiche is to die for. A touch pricey but so worth it. Make sure you call ahead and see if they can seat you. They're always so busy, reservations are a must. Set aside a few hours to enjoy a calming cup of tea with the best quiche ever!

I've been here a few times and I have a great experience every time. It's so adorably decorated, like you're visiting you're great aunt Gertrude. I'm so very picky with tea but I always find something I like here. The scones are so wonderful. I like the different varieties you can get seasonally. They're always fresh and come with a great jam. My absolute favorite thing here though is the Ayrshire cream. It's a lovely sort of sweetened cream cheese dessert with a fruity swirl on top. I do think the price is reasonable for what you're getting.

Cute little space. Very authentic tea room. Small menu but the food is very delicious. Everything is homemade cooked to perfection. It's small seating area also.

I wanted to start getting High Noon Tea and my coworkers have been here and highly recommended it. I went in for 12pm tea and was able to be seated right away. Being Gluten Free, I wasn't sure if there were any options I could do for actual food since options aren't listed online. But they have Gluten Free Bread! I wasn't able to have the soup but they have two Gluten free dressings for their salad. I got the three sandwiches and salad technically comes with soup normally). Tried the tuna salad, garden veggie and cream cheese, and turkey. They were all delicious! The salad was great and paired well with the tea. Definitely going back. Great atmosphere for High Noon Tea : It would be great if they could somehow pair with Rumi's Passion bakery on 5 mile to get more gluten free foods/pastries to sell and promote both their businesses.

Great place, the tea is really delicious, the tea cups are great and the attention is wonderful, Ideal for a tea with your friends or your daughter for a special occasion or a highly recommended talk for you and your friends I loved it.
