There an a la Carte menu, small but well chosen and a “Formule” Menu which offers a choice of 3 starters, 3 mains and 2 desserts. €11,50 for 2 courses, €13,50 for 3. There’s also a good choice of wines including carafes of the very good house wine. Opening day today and we took a Taboulé with Anchovies with a lime dressing and the “Fish Accras” which consists of small pieces of fish cooked in a light batter. Excellent quality & presentation. For mains we had Pork Cheeks with Carrots & Fennel and a Chicken Breast rolled in Sesame seeds both served with hand cut chips, again, very good on both counts. For dessert it was Crème Caramel. The food was superb, the atmosphere really good and the service, again, very good. It’s great to see this resto open again under a new name as it’s a really great addition to the town. At present it’s just open lunchtimes from Monday to Saturday and it deserves to do well.
A last minute viewing of their Plat du Jour board on display proved to be a gourmets delight. Very welcome and efficient service in a good ambience restaurant. Food very wholesome and tasty. Well worth a visit, but, either book or get there early, it...More
