Chatterbox - Pleasantville

Never disappointed with this great place. the personal is always friendly, friendly and courteous. Eating and drinks are excellent. it is really a pleasant experience with so many menu points to choose.

Our server was outstanding. We were seated immediately for our reservation is not always the case at all restaurants. We had never been and found the cramped spacing not to our liking. The noise level is to the point were talking to people in your party becomes a shouting match. Most of our parties food was bland maybe the seasonings went on strike that night. Only two patrons received food that was flavorful. Everyone can have an off night and I do not typically judge a restaurant by one visit. However, I had heard many people rave about this place and tried it based on those recommendations. I was a little disappointed. Will give it another chance because as I stated everyone can have an off night.

I’ve heard such great things about this restaurant so decided to give it a try. Made a reservation for NYE for 6 of us. There was a little traffic so I called ahead to let them know half of my party would be a little late they explained we would only have a 2 hour window to eat since they were TRIPLE book and we were late, was not a problem we totally understood. Once half of our party arrived the gentleman told them about this 2 hour window we had.. once the next half of our party arrived they proceeded to hound us again on this 2 hour gap we said we understood and it was all ok. Unfortunately someone had passed out at the table next to us so as you can imagine this causing a scene and delaying our meals a little bit with all chaos going on. At exactly 2 hours of us sitting there, paying cash and tipping well over 20% after all this happened this same gentleman came over to us and asked us to leave because he needed this table for the next reservation. I understand being a few minutes late and all but after stating the restaurant was “triple” booked there were MANY open tables and as we were leaving there was no other party entering/waiting. It was very rude and unprofessional. Just left a bad taste in all our mouths so none of us will be returning.
