Garlex Pizza And Ribs - Pleasanton

I grew up eating Garlex this is nothing like garlex pizza. Old stale dough that tasted stale and off. The overwhelming amount of grease. I would go anythwere else for pizza.

Came here for ribs (The name of the place is Garlex and Ribs. You'd expect ribs, right? Nope. No ribs. They don't have them. We left and ate around the corner. Very disappointing.

The spare ribs! Melt in your mouth ?! I am looking forward to the next time I order, Absolutely delicious! Thank you, delivery was superb. Yes you have the magic taste to want more!

This is a far cry from the original Garlex Pizza founded by Gary and Alex hence the name) back in the eighties. The pizza is not the original recipe, and the ingredients are subpar too.While the staff is friendly enough, we would definitely not return. The bathroom had no soap, always a concern in an establishment that serves food in my mind. We also had to go next door to the Indian market a former 7-Eleven) for beverages. Thankfully they had beverages, albeit a very limited selection. Also, the price to portion was way off for the food. It's so sad to see what was a true staple on the pizza scene in Pleasanton become a shadow of t's formal self. Parking: Multiple spots available in this large shopping center.

Surprised to see no one mentioned the calzones here in the reviews. This place has some amazing calzones !!! We were regular customers and big fans of the Garlex in Danville but once it closed few months back we started looking at other Garlex joints nearby and found this gem. At the same time I was looking for a good calzone place and voila! Their calzones are great in portion, price, you can choose the 3 fillings which is awesome, and the best part ? Garlic olive oil drizzle with Parmesan sprinkles !!! I’ve been here multiple times already and also ordered Garlic cheese bread equally awesome with their hearty marinara on the side. Don’t let the outside looks deceive you the guys here are hard working folks serving some great stuff always with a smile. A big shout out to them when I reached there late after 8 PM when they close but they let me in and we’re waiting with my order ? keep up the great job folks !
