Just see the girls behind the counter are complete rock stars!!! Nurse Karen comes to a busy shop demanding her pick-up order, although others are obviously waiting for her. And then she misinterprets the accent of the girl for rudeness and asks for her name, I suppose, “Tell her manager. The girl apologizes (she didn’t need it at all! The owner should be proud of his staff; they were respectful, friendly and showed an inspiring level of calm.
I am a big fan of Togos. The Italian mini sandwich is ideal for a fast lunch and is a great deal at only $4. My absolute favorite is #9, The Pastrami. The Togos chain of sandwich shops was founded in 1971 by Mike Cobler, who was a student at San Jose State at the time. The menu offers a wide variety of meat options and prices start at less than a dollar. Cobler sold the business in 1997.
I recently tried the new pastrami dip at this restaurant, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. I decided to order online and my meal was ready right on time as promised.
The sandwiches at this restaurant are excellent. While the prices may be high, the pastrami is definitely worth it.
