The Hangout - Pleasant Hill

I decided to give this restaurant a try after hearing many recommendations, and I am thrilled that I finally did! The restaurant is situated in a shopping center with ample parking available. There are both indoor and outdoor seating options. While the tables are small and closely placed, it did not bother us at all. The staff was very friendly, and our meal was absolutely delicious! We tried one of the omelettes along with some eggs and coffee, which were all excellent. As we looked around, all the dishes appeared to be appetizing. We will definitely be returning.

The restaurant was very busy but the food was good. It offers a mix of Thai and American style dishes. I particularly enjoyed the hangover dish. I wanted to try the fried hah, but it seemed to use a similar batter as fried bananas in other Thai restaurants, which didn't quite suit my taste. The mandatory 15% gratuity seemed to be the norm, but I found it a bit excessive for a group of 5 with minimal service. I understand that many places automatically add 18% to 20% gratuity for groups of 5 or more.

The hangout is one of the best breakfast places we had in the opposite! the aromes are unique that it is like a fusion of Japanese, Hawaiian and American aromes. the loco moco was particularly delicious as the gravy was actually Japanese curry. the fried chicken was extra crispy with karaage aromen. her **** mary was also quite delicious. in any case will be back!

Great place for brunch! Food was delicious and the bottomless mimosas were fantastic. The server never let our glasses get less than half full! Definitely going back.

Was craving french toast and they did not disappoint. I'm not a fruit' on my french toast/pancakes person but these right here were right on time and perfect. The peach mimosa was the best too.Found this place by sheer luck searching Yelp for french toast. First timer and certainly will be back.
