Jo's Sushi - Pleasant Hill

We miss this place on the regular. Have been enjoying for 10 years . Any chance anyone knows of Jo so staff and willingness to do private events?

I used to live about a block away from Jo's and it became a Friday night regular for my husband and I for several years. We absolutely loved this restaurant, have always loved sushi but Jo's was a cut above the rest when it came to the quality of the fish and the welcoming personality of all the staff. Jo's nigiri specials were unparalleled, I swear I will dream of that Faroe Salmon nigiri until the day I die. I have so many great memories of this wonderful restaurant and now a year since it's closing I still mourn its close each time I eat sushi elsewhere. I sincerely hope Jo and the rest of the staff are happy and well, and living the life of joy they brought to so many others. Thank you for all the happiness you brought to my family, we still miss you and wish you well. For those looking for a new place to go, Honda's Sushi is your next best and just as friendly.

SO so sad, we have been clients for well over 20 years. Now I must find a new sushi place but I know I will in time. Positive is I won't be dipping into my children's college funds any more for fish. Has anyone found an amazing alternative?

I almost didn 't want to post this review because I wanna keep Jo 's all to ourselves but we want them to be successful Jo 's is our regular sushi place. We order from here on a weekly basis and they 've never let us down. Food is great, and they don 't use any of the fake crab stuff. (Try Jo 's eyeballs , those are wonderful!
