Sicilian Oven - Plantation

OMG! I have to go back. My meatballs and spaghetti were exquisite and the service was excellent. The manager came to greet me and asked how my food was. It's my first time and I went to eat because my son recommended the restaurant. He goes all the time and now I know why. It'll be back.

Wow. I have to start the review with wow because that?s what this place is. Located in Plantation I thought this was going to be a typical chain pizza restaurant but it is far from. Food and flavor was amazing. Please come here and try to food because you will not be disappointed. The chicken sandwich is magical although I can?t recall the name. Ill update in the future. I am hoping the service does not decline because right now this is a place to visit. Pizza, drinks, salads, wings all amazing. Nice cocktails. It is on the pricier side but the food is well worth it!

I would like to talk a little about the Sicilian oven food. One thing I can say is one of the best foods I have ever had. Not because I worked there, more because I was able to try the entire menu. I can say detailed dish by dish. But my favorites have always been Lasagna, Sicilian Salad and Boss Pizza. So I will always recommend for my friends and family. One thing I can say about the Plantation location always had the mostly Passionate Managers (Arjan, Ross and Chris) and Staff.

Good crust, generous toppings but the sauce was just too sweet and not enough flavor. The Sicilian salad was a nice treat, with so many good items it it- onions, tomatoes, three kinds of Olives, two kinds of lettuce, candied walnuts and garbanzo beans in a nice tasty dressing, but again, a bit on the sweet side. The fried calamari had a nice crunch to it paired with a tasty marinara with Jalapeno slices thrown in for good measure.

Giving 5 stars because the food is that good. Hit man pizza is great for spice lovers and the Sicilian salad is great for everyone. Don?t forget the meatball. That said, I?ve had the WORST take out experiences here. Dine in is alright and the servers and bartenders are very nice. I would just never recommend picking up food here. EVER. It will be late and most likely wrong. The only saving grace is that it?s so good.
