Outback Steakhouse - Plantation

Delicious dinner...from the appetizers to the main entre...the strawberry waffle cake was amazing! Our server Nina was excellent and we wish her all the best with her upcoming baby visit! We loved dinner tonight...everything was perfect.

We were in the area and decided to pop in for a late lunch very early Saturday dinner on a crazy-schedule day. The sign says they open at 4pm, but we got in at 3:45 and got seated right away. Although there was nothing too specific, there's just this general feeling that this location is just a bit behind our usual spot on Griffin Road. The chicken in my pasta dish had a spot that was undercooked and my wife ordered medium-well prime rib and it came out looking more medium-rare-ish, but the food was fine and the kids liked it. They gave us kids menus, but the greeter was out of crayons. I don't want to ding Outback overall, but this time didn't impress me so much.

A little wait on this evening, however, the staff did not rush any part of the meal experience. Had the ribs- my favorite with cinnamon apples and broccoli. Attentive service with in a pretty crowded restaurant and the food quality did not suffer due to the crowd. All our meals were well prepared and excellent.

Usually a long wait to be seated busy place. But the food is always good. Nice bar area if you can get a seat. Overall, the wait is worth it.

I like going to Outback, although I have to say, I never get a steak. Food is always good no matter what location, but I do have to say this location always seems to have a longer wait than the one in Coral Springs.
