Mcdonald's - Plant City

I had the best fast food experience since moving to Florida! The service was quick and the food was hot. I have worked in fine dining and high-end restaurants in Chicago for 10 years, and the staff working on Thursday night at this restaurant is one of the best I have encountered. The gentleman taking orders was patient and friendly, and the woman at the window had a welcoming smile and was efficient and accurate. The chef did a fantastic job as well. I am grateful for the hard work of the late-night staff and believe they deserve higher pay. This is the best fast food experience in Florida!

Make sure to pay a visit to this restaurant when in Orlando. Once you step inside, you'll notice that the menu offers unique items that you won't find at McDonald's. The place is popular among families, with many children enjoying the play area and arcade section. I found the restaurant to be well-maintained and the food to be as good as expected.

My experience at this restaurant was terrible. The front counter was overwhelmed with orders, with only one girl working hard to keep up while other employees were not helping. The manager stayed in the grill despite the backlog of orders and the drive-thru and front counter being extremely busy. It took 30 minutes to receive my order after mobile ordering. I will not be returning. Avoid this place.

This particular McDonald's location is absurd. They consistently get orders wrong, frequently leave out items, and the way they prepare the food is unappetizing. I would be interested to see what a health inspector would have to say about this place. I am amazed at how incompetent the staff is, as they can't even put together a decent burger. It is baffling that they believe they deserve $15 an hour. Is there even a manager at this location? If they could just get their act together, it shouldn't be that difficult. The 5-star reviews must be from employees, because it doesn't make any sense otherwise. Do not waste your money at this location, seriously.

I ordered a #1 combo with extra Big Mac sauce, but they only gave me a drop of sauce and no middle bun. The employee was extremely rude, with long dyed magenta hair that was getting in people's food. We waited in a long line for 22 minutes before giving up and ordering on our phone. The customers in front of us, who didn't have their phone, got upset and left, especially after being yelled at by the rude employee. There were plenty of employees handling the drive-thru, so it was unclear why this particular employee was just standing around. She threw a bag of food on the counter to the customers who had been waiting a while, and our food sat on the counter inside for a long time before my husband had to ask for it. When he did ask, she only handed him one bag, and it turned out we only received a third of our order. The tables inside were messy, so I cleaned three of them myself with napkins and water from the soda machine. There were no cup lids in the dining room, and a woman with 4 kids needed help when one of them knocked over a drink. My son said his sandwich was old and dry, so he refused to eat it and we didn't want to wait for a replacement. We were dealing with a lot after our roof came off in a hurricane, so we were stuck with this option. Normally a trip to McDonald's cheers my son up when he's upset, but this experience only made things worse. I do not recommend this location; maybe try your luck at Waffle House or Wawa instead. Chick-fil-A was closed because it was Sunday.
