Zorba's Greek Cafe - Plano

This is probably the worst Greek food I've ever experienced. The chicken was incredibly dry and completely lacked flavor—I'm not even sure they added any salt. The calamari was coated with a strange sweet seasoning and was extremely gummy, likely from being overcooked. The stuffed grape leaves had an odd taste as well. The only thing we liked were our salads; the produce was really fresh and clean.

The food here is delicious and incredibly affordable! You certainly get a generous portion and won't leave feeling hungry. The grilled octopus was outstanding—thick slices packed with flavor. Normally, I'm not a fan of falafel, but I decided to give it a try here, and I was pleasantly surprised. While I still wouldn't choose it, the fact that I could eat it without gagging is a testament to its quality. The service was excellent as well. This place is a fantastic choice for a small work meeting—it's not too loud and has just the right amount of ambiance.

I decided to try this restaurant for some Mediterranean food. We placed a pick-up order, but when we got home, we realized that one of our three gyro wraps was missing.

This is an excellent place for a delicious and satisfying meal! We are big fans of Greek cuisine, and this restaurant truly delivered! Upon entering, we were greeted by friendly staff, and we were seated immediately. The service was prompt and welcoming. Our server provided us with fantastic recommendations. We kicked off our meal with beets, a trio platter, and falafel, all of which were delightful! For our main course, we enjoyed Saganaki and a gyro salad, followed by baklava and cheesecake baklava for dessert! It was absolutely heavenly—combining two of my favorite desserts into one!

Zorba's is a charming Greek restaurant that features an authentic ambiance. The cuisine varies, offering dishes that range from average to quite delicious. While it may not be a gourmet destination, it is a lovely local spot. The waitstaff is friendly and helpful, eager to assist you with the menu and suggest their favorite dishes.
