I hope the filter is good enough to get the chlorine and fluoride out. they cut real fruits into the tee. When I first went, they were sold out. I have a $5 mango strawberry black tee without boba.
This small restaurant is charming, but the milk tea doesn't taste authentic. It's not good - it has a plain, powdery taste that I'm not a fan of. There are plenty of other places to visit instead.
The drinks here are good, but I was disappointed the last time I was in to realize how you have to pay $1 extra per drink for the milk in the milk teas. It makes more sense that milk would be included in the price. For three drinks we paid over $20, which seems crazy expensive.
I would recommend trying the taho, as it wasn't too sweet. However, I definitely do not recommend the street food sampler. The kikiam didn't look right and was not worth the price. As for the buko pandan drink, I'm not sure if I would recommend it. If you enjoy the taste of cereal milk with jellies, then this may be for you. I may have just picked items that I didn't particularly like, so I will visit again to see if other menu items are better.
This restaurant is a hidden gem! The owner was welcoming and gave great recommendations from the menu. I appreciated that they were able to customize the sweetness level and ice preference. I ordered a honeydew with Lychee-Jellies and a Thai tea with boba, and both were delicious.
