Luby's - Plano

Luby opened the doors early to get us out of the rain. The line servers were friendly and efficient, and the waiting personnel were visible for refills. The food was great too!

I remember Luby as a child when I lived in Dallas in the 1960s. Eating was always lovely. The waiting staff was always very polite and very helpful. Now the standard is that someone wears your tray and put your food on the table. Do not stand in your hand with your tray looking for a place to sit. Now they are also your server. No more roaming for extra water, coffee or pop. Luby 's was a target after the dentist. They always had the best Blackberry Cobbler. I guess I'll start the meal backwards. After you gray a prey and go down the line? ll see many possibilities. Choice of small part or regular plate size. This is always a nice option when you try to stay low in your calorie count. selection of vegetable tons of salad, fruit salad, cottage cheese, carrot, herb or regular. You want vegetables always have beans (from pinto to butterball) spinach or green, potato, macaroni and cheese. Many decisions for your entree. Liver and onions, roasted steak, baked or fried fish. We came for Thanksgiving with a party of 20 and they made us feel very welcome. Angie was our server and took care of us. This is the second year Angie takes care of my family and I am so worthy.

The place in very clean and cozy, I had takeout, but the food on today was terrible I bought turkey and dressing(salted) Black Eyed Peas was not good or long enough cooking, the spinach just turned my stomach now I buy turkey and dressing before and everything was good and pleasant, but today was just terrible!? I do not think I will return soon; I spent $41 today?

Chris my waiter and the manager Bill are the greatest at customer service. Sincerely. The whole staff. They remember what you like. If not 100% correct, they make it right.
