Half Shells Oyster Grill - Plano

I had the chipotle honey shrimp tacos and they were delicious! Nice cocktail list. The shrimp nachos were inventive. Good service.

Update: it seems like management is leaving comments on reviews asking to email them but then they don?t really bother replying or getting in touch. I emailed as per the request below on October 31st and today is Nov 22 and no one has even replied to myemail. It was nice. We sat outdoors on a quiet and calm Thursday early evening. It wasn?t as crowded. The lobster and shrimpsandwich was great. I would have given 5 stars if it weren?t for the following. Our bread pudding had hair in it, bread puddingwas warm in some spots and not in some. Lastly our server towards the end of the service just left the check and never saw himback so had to ask another server to process our card and get it done.

All the food was fresh and yummy. I ordered off of rockfishs page from google but they sent me here which I?m not mad they did lol I wanted to try the oysters (since I was feeling sick and it was a ton of zinc(I felt a lot better . I got some kind ofplatter with 3 types of fish , hush puppies and fries. I also had never tried the pudding cake and it was not for me soley basedoff of texture lol would come back especially for the fried cod and hush puppies????.

Fantastic service! The food was 3 star and the service was 5 stars. The oyster nacho appetizer was fantastic, we also shared a crab cake that was very good. The shrimp and grits weren?t very good sadly, this was my second day in a row to eat this meal (2different restaurants) so it was a direct comparison to the other meal, the grits were too mushy, the bacon didn?t have thesweetness that the menu promised and the shrimp had little or no seasoning. If you took a bite with the sausage it was good butthe amount of melted butter was just too much. I also sampled a shrimp taco, it was flavorful but overall just okay. I?d gladlyreturn for drinks and apps.

First time here and have to say that the food was absolutely amazing. Her lobster and shrimp grilled cheese was to die for. The fries perfectly crispy. The shrimp and crab stuffed fish was great and the caper berblanc sauce made the mashed potatoes evenbetter. And the green beans were so amazing that my wife kept stealing off my plate LOL. We will absolutely be back!
