Genghis Grill - Plano

The food is still good and one of the best healthy choices around. But Genghis has really let their restaurants deteriorate. And the windows were so tinted that we thought they were out of business. There was only one server working (a Tuesday night) but she was delightful and she checked on us constantly and we got our drinks, food and check promptly.

One of the worst experiences I have had at a Genghis Grill. 2 stars only because the food was fairly fresh. I was seated right away but waited awhile for a server to come take my order while other customers were seated, served drinks, and orders taken before anyone came to my table. My drink was served from over the counter behind me with no ice and my waitress was so inattentive that I had to ask other waitresses for condiments and eventually my check. Will not be coming back.

I walked in the door with my husband and daughter only to have servers look over and then go back to their conversations by the bar. My husband walks over to the cook and asks for bowls only to be instructed to ask a server for bowls. I used to frequent this restaurant for the customer service as well as the food, but after 2 years of not going... I walk in to find out I missed nothing but disappointment. Won't be going back.

Genghis Grill is my go-to place whenever I wish to order something or dine out. I like the concept of choosing your own meat/veggies, spices and sauces. You can club it with fried rice, cauliflower rice, etc.Must Try! Delicious it is!

Floors are sticky and not clean. The same with seating area. Its ok to increase prices if the quality of food is improved. Looks like that's not the case. I have been to this location 3 years back and quality has degraded despite price hikes. Sauces are very greasy and bland, veggies are not fresh and even the main grill is not clean. I feel bad for staff working here.
