Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Plano

This is a nice, quiet spot for lunch. The seating has a rustic charm, as usual. The ice machine is clean, and there are good options for side dishes. The prices are a bit high for a cafeteria-style meal, but that's just how things are these days. Overall, I would give the food a rating of 4 out of 5.

The BBQ sandwich did not match the description or appearance shown. The portion of beef was small, and the meat was not trimmed at all. Additionally, the potato casserole we loved is no longer available. Unfortunately, we will be choosing to avoid this place in the future. It was an expensive and very small sandwich.

I will never return. I ordered the Westerner with extra meat and a small side of BBQ beans. The beans were just awful—they were undercooked and hard. The person who served me was rude, and my Westerner, which was supposed to have extra meat, was mostly fat. I'll be heading to Dickey's in Richardson instead; it’s much cleaner and has better service. This place has already disappointed me once, and that’s enough. Don’t waste your money on fatty meats and poorly cooked beans. I don’t know who is cooking there, but they don't know how to make mac and cheese either. What a waste!

A good person good food Manuel Alejandro and Julio was a good servant and nice thank you for the good citizens. Food: 5/5

My experience was great. The brisket sliders were amazing I was helped by Stephanie Julio who were both wonderful. I’ll definitely be back!
