Daves Hot Chicken - Plano

I had a fantastic time dining here! I ordered my dish with a Medium spice level, but I could have happily gone for a bit more heat. Next time, I’ll definitely opt for Hot or Extra Hot! I also tried a side of cheese sauce, which was pretty standard, but the special sauce was absolutely incredible! Additionally, the customer service was outstanding!

The staff was friendly and attentive, providing quick service. The food was fantastic and very flavorful. However, the mac and cheese could be improved, as it had a slightly processed taste. On the bright side, the chicken was exceptional—crispy and perfectly seasoned. While I appreciate simple menus, I found the choices to be somewhat limited and not very enticing. Overall, if you're in search of a quick and delicious bite, this is the place to go!

I had a fantastic experience at Dave's! The fried chicken is halal, ensuring top-notch quality meat. The two-slider meal includes two chicken sandwiches, which makes it perfect for sharing if you're okay with dividing the fries. Speaking of fries, they are crinkle-cut, providing just the right amount of crispiness. The chicken was incredibly juicy. I opted for medium spice, but I didn't find it spicy at all. They applied a generous amount of dry seasoning, which made the chicken slightly salty, but it complemented the kale slaw really well. I would absolutely return!

My only issue was the amount of salt and seasoning; it can be a bit overwhelming and leaves a sting on your tongue because it's rather salty. However, aside from that, this place is ideal for satisfying a greasy late-night craving!
